- Automation of installation through PowerShell or Ansible.
- Component owner tasks – test, verification, documentation and release of Hardware,firmwareand software releases
- Create documentation, training material, procedures, and processes
- We expect you to have in depth knowledge on virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), server hardware, server operating systems (Microsoft/Linux), scripting (PowerShell/Bash) as well as knowledge on automating infrastructure with products like Chef (Ruby) or Ansible (Python).
- Knowledge of storage- and backup solutions,database solutions (MS SQL/ MySQL), UPS solutions would be an advantage.

The Digital Foundation & Infrastructure Core Infrastructure team is part of the Business Unit Service and consists of a group of dedicated employees. The team is responsible for the IT platform used for our SCADA platform.

For ourCore Infrastructureteam within theService Business Unit, we are looking for a skilled and dedicatedInfrastructure Specialistforintroducing new IT-technical solutions.
As an Infrastructure Specialist you are responsible for the server hardware platform, which is used for the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SCADA system. You will be a part of a team which operates in a busy and rapid changing environment. It is therefore a requirement that you can handle and cope with many parallel ongoing tasks.
Some of the tasks and responsibilities you can expect to be involved in include:
Additionally, you might participate on 2/3 Level support for IT technicians located in Onshore, Offshore and Service.
