SILVIA GARCIA VELARDE

My name is Silvia Garcia Velarde, I finished my degree as a pharmaco-biological chemist in 2017 in Mexico. I have 5 years of ascertainable experience working in a laboratory, with execution of analytical processing, following the standards for calibrations and controls of equipment, validation of results in the lab software, and general support.

I am proactive with initiative to anticipate, prevent and solve problems without waiting for someone else to ask for it. Moreover, I take responsibility for my obligations and act in accordance with them. In my second job I had the opportunity to be responsible for the laboratory, where my tasks were to verify that the results came out in a timely manner, I was in charge of 2 chemists and I was responsible for checking the inventory stock. I’m also an organized person, who plans and develops my activities with order using the right methods, when I have free time, I like to organize my work area too. I’m able to take ownership of my tasks and I have a desire to work and learn. Furthermore, I am able to work independently as well as part of a team. 

• Cover all areas of a clinical laboratory from pre-analytical phase with biological samples and patients, analytical phase, process, and post-analytical, validating the results in the laboratory software
