Erfaring

  • April 2022 – Now /Ph.D. Candidate/Technical University of Denmark, Denmark.

Research project #1: Time-resolved 2D electron optics.

  • Tasks: Study and create Graphene logic circuits that operate faster than conventional devices. 
  • Method: Combine using Terahertz laser and electrical measurements at different temperatures.
  • Results: There is promising initial data, and there will be at least one publication when the project is finished.

Research project #2: Terahertz-induced tunneling in FG-FET

  • Tasks: Study and create double layers of Graphene devices that can act like memory devices and store electrical images. 
  • Method: Combine using Terahertz laser and electrical measurements simultaneously.
  • Results: The project is halfway finished; we have the evidence of the memory devices.

Research project #3: Smooth straintronic.

  • Tasks: Study and generate controllable strain in Graphene and other 2D materials.
  • Method: Using state-of-the-art dry transfer method to assemble the materials and measure the electrical current at variable temperatures
  • Results: The project has just started, but the fabrication steps are already finished. 

 

  • Sept 2018 – Der 2022 /Master Candidate/Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea.

Research project #1: Fabrication & characterization of TMDCs materials for electronic devices application.

  • Tasks: Study and improve state-of-the-art transfer methods for 2D materials. 
  • Method: Testing different types of polymer with different temperatures to give the highest quality of the assembling 2D materials. 
  • Results: The project is finished and has been published at two conferences.

Research project #2: Synthesis & recycling of 2D materials.

  • Tasks: Find an economy-friendly way to cycle 2D materials in order to make research more affordable for everyone. 
  • Method: Exploration by using chemical treatment.
  • Results: The project is finished and published in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces journal as a co-first author in 2022

Research project #3: Enhance the performance of field-effect transistor (FET)

  • Tasks: 2D materials’ molecular dopant and polymer characteristics have been developed and researched for improved functionality and durability. 
  • Results: Mobility was increased by 250 times, improving FET devices’ reliability and efficiency. In 2022, as the co-first author, I reported the findings in the Applied Surface Science journal.

Research project #4: Synthesis of nanomaterials for visiting cold fusion 

  • Tasks: Replicate the famous cold fusion experiment with a different approach  
  • Method: Instead of using bulky electrodes for the electrochemistry fusion, we attempted to synthesize a porous electrode type and fill it with nano-particles to enhance the reaction ratio. 
  • Results: The project is finished and published as my master’s thesis. 

Research project #5: Covid detection using smartphone-based.

  • Tasks: During the pandemic, testing covid at first was difficult and costly; we developed an easy way with just a smartphone and a simple kit that can help people detect the contagious in a very early stage.   
  • Results: The project is finished and published as a patent.
