It is crucial to our ambitions that we reduce the amount of our packaging, and that the packaging we use should be recyclable. Therefore, we have set an ambitious goal that by 2030, 100 percent of Danish Crown's products should be packaged in recyclable packaging. At the same time, we will reduce the amount of packaging, aiming to use 30 percent less by 2030 than we do today.
To assist driving sustainability initiatives, we are looking for a talented individual to join our small team as a Project Specialist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting program coordination, ensuring tasks are executed on time, and maintaining a focus on sustainability goals. Bring your exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills to support the leadership team in advancing their strategic agendas.
The position is limited to 12 months and serves as a solid foundation for your further development within project management in larger global organizations.
Responsibilities
As a Project Specialist, you will:
• Coordinate tasks within the sustainable packaging program
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to deadlines
• Manage documentation, prepare reports & presentations
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Danish Crown business units
• Execute smaller projects within the program
• Identify and mitigate project risks for successful completion.
Do you have what it takes?
We're looking for someone with 2-3 years of project management experience. The ideal candidate also holds a Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration/Management, or a related field and professional experience. This includes:
• Strong data research and analytical skills for extracting logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent written and spoken English at a negotiation level.
Bring your exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills to support the Program Manager in advancing our ambitious goals. Be an ambassador who motivates and inspires with your teamwork and interpersonal relations skills. Be ready to put your proactive and positive mindset at play along with your desire for continuous learning and self-education.
Primary stakeholders include individuals on all levels internally, as well as external contacts with customers and suppliers.
