    Job Description

    Are you a Senior Automation Engineer (Instrumentation, Automation, SRO) or Project Manager? Do you want to work with energy transition projects such as PtX, Carbon Capture, Energy Intensive Industries, or gas infrastructure? Do you want to play a central part in our projects?

    Your new role

    As our new Senior Automation engineer, you will be focal towards the clients, suppliers, and projects. As focal, you will be responsible for e.g., field instrumentation, automation systems, safety systems, network, fire & gas detection and interfaces towards mechanical & electrical packages and Supplier/Vendor management/engagement.

    Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Acting as project manager on projects in close collaboration with clients.
  • Acting as discipline lead/project manager on multidiscipline projects along with project team
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Perform specification and design of automation systems e.g. Overall system topology and interfaces towards third party systems, SCADA, ESD/fail-safe systems or Fire and Gas, Field instrumentation
  • Providing input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution phase.
  • Providing input for and participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning.
  • Inspection/visits of installations on Sites.

    You will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 36 passionate colleagues in Denmark supported by our global engineering centre. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector for projects around the world. The area of responsibility for this position is mainly energy transition projects such as PtX plants, offshore energy, power generation, and gas infrastructure.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering, Electronic and computer, Information and Communication Technology, Marine Engineering or similar.
  • Measurable relevant industry experience in a similar or closely related role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a structured and systematic way.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, complete tasks, and manage deadlines.
  • We expect you have knowledge within some of the following areas: Field instrumentation, SCADA/Control/SRO, ESD/fail-safe, or Fire and Gas.
  • Experience in design or operation of power plants, oil & gas, or other process industries
