Om Juan Carlos Haquet Briones:

Heya, I'm Juan and I'm a bartender with five years of experience in the industry. I spent some time as a barback/runner manager, but I've been standing and smiling behind the bar for close to three years. I currently work part-time at KASSEN cocktailbar, as an events bartender for Cocktail Company, and I give weekly cocktail courses at Aloë Cocktail bar. 

Besides being an enthusiast for a good cocktail, I dabble in Music and teach guitar on my spare time.

Erfaring

In the last five years I've been working in this industry I have worked for two large companies with multiple locations. I have had experience working behind the bar, as a front of house and as a runner in drastically different contexts based on the particular location's setup and concept. 

I currently work at KASSEN cocktail bar, a high-pace working environment with a very large menu consisting of classic cocktails, house signatures, long drinks, and beer. My responsibilities extend to the other two organs of Friday Group in the form of cocktail courses and events bartending. 

I am quick to adapt and I am likely to be very “plug-in and play” in concepts from bodegas to large scale clubs and volume sales venues. 

Uddannelse

Before COVID I studied an AP Degree in Service & Hospitality at the Copenhagen Business Academy. There I learned appropriere techniques applicable to marketing, customer psychology and the use of administrative tools necessary to run a business in this industry.
