I am a chemical engineer currently working in India with 8 years and 06 months of operations experience in the petrochemical industry. I am a highly motivated and hard working professional.

I am currently working as assistant manager, in commissioning of a polyethylene unit in HPCL Mittal Energy Limited- Bathinda, India. I have previously worked with Reliance Industries Limited in steady state operations of polypropylene unit and ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) during commissioning of their polypropylene unit.

1.HPCL Mittal Energy Limited

June 2020- present

Assistant Manager: Polyethylene unit

• Attended online process training by Univation Technologies,USA (Unipol).
• Working in project activities like 3-D Plant Model Review, P&ID Review, PFD Review, Factory acceptance test (FAT) of DCS, Model and Factory acceptance test of Honeywell-Operator Training Simulator (OTS), Preparation of process control related jobs like alarm management, DCS graphics preparation. 
• Checking & Review of the Interlocks/Logics, Logic Description, Cause & Effect & Trip/Alarm value of Plant & as well as package equipment’s.
• Construction and Erection of structure, pipelines and equipment to ensure clean built, Preparation of systems and flushing loops. Preparation of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Procedure, Preparation of Commissioning schedule. 
• Involved in preparation of detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard operating conditions (SOC).
• Maintaining project activities track record through format systems in PCAMS (Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities management system). 
• Giving Classroom and field operation training to Operators and Engineers.
• OTS training and validation for operators and engineers as an instructor.
• Commissioning of all utility systems before startup of the unit.
• Experience in Yokogawa DCS and Schneider PLC Operations.

2.Reliance Industries Ltd

Shift Engineer: Polypropylene unit

• Steady state operation of Polypropylene plant involving supervision in field activities and control panel operation.
• Experience in Foxboro DCS operation.
• Handling extruder: Coperion ZSK 380 twin screw kneader mega compounder with co rotating and intermeshing screws, MD (11.5MW) and control panel operations for extruder.
• Handling different types of compressors involving centrifugal compressor (GE) with a dry gas seal, reciprocating compressor (Burkhardt 3 stage compressor), and diaphragm type (Hofer).
•  Handling different types of pumps (Vertical centrifugal, reciprocating, centrifugal, diaphragm type, screw), HEs (shell and tube, PHE, tubular, fin type) etc.
• Handling pyrophoric materials like Tri ethyl aluminum chloride (TEAL).
• Monitoring and maintaining critical reaction parameters from control panel. Operating successfully using APC depending completely on VGR/CG GC analyzers. Safe shutdown, startup, GCO (Grade Change Over), emergency handling activities from control panel.
• Handled emergency situations like power dip, extruder trip, B/L feed fluctuation resulting in tripping compressors and pumps, Contamination of raw materials leading to process upset, PDS chunk catcher chocking, additive feeder chocking, dryer upsets etc.
• Handling of different types of permits in SAP.

3.ONGC Petro additions Ltd

Sept 2014- July 2017

Field Engineer: Polypropylene unit

• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of PP plant.
• Handling different type of compressors (Centrifugal dry gas seal compressor of FIMA, Reciprocating 3 stage compressor of Burkhardt, Screw compressor of Kirloskar etc.), pumps, dryers etc.
• Operating extruder control panels.
• Responsible for safe startup, shutdown and emergency operation.
• Preparation of shift report and maintaining log book.
