We're seeking a
Senior Photonics Engineer
to lead the design, simulation, and development of advanced PICs for next-generation optical systems. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from concept and layout through fabrication and test.
Requirements
- Design, simulate, and develop photonic integrated circuits (e.g. waveguides, modulators, detectors)
- Lead PIC layout, verification, and tape-out activities
- Experience with PIC design and simulation tools and foundry PDKs
- Support fabrication, packaging, and device characterisation
- Strong background in integrated photonics or optical engineering
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment
