    The position

    As Medical Manager you will be a leading partner in the generation, interpretation, and implementation of medical and scientific evidence and insights with internal and external stakeholders (Key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other health care providers (HCPs)).

    You will be responsible for ensuring that the Danish affiliate is equipped and trained to deliver the best possible scientific interactions with the external scientific community.


    Your main accountabilities will be:

    You will be the scientific expert within your area and will spend 20-40 % of the time interacting with external stakeholders (HCPs and KOLs) as preferred partner in generating, interpretating and implementing evidence and insights.

    You will act as an active core member of the Brand Team, ascertaining involvement and cascading of relevant information to the team.

    You will be responsible for driving the Strategic Medical Activity Plans within your areas and setting the strategic direction and scientific narrative.

    You will deliver cross functional input to Project Development Plans and trial outlines, as well as ensure proper internal training and support of colleagues in NNDK, including Sales, Clinical, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory and Customer Service.

    You will handle investigator sponsored studies (ISSs) and drive real world evidence generation and lead the publication of scientific evidence.

    Qualifications To be successful in this role you hold a master or preferably a Ph.
    D.

    degree in medicine, pharmaceutical or other natural sciences, and have 5+ years of proven experience, in management of Medical Affairs activities, clinical trials, observational studies, project management and development of medical education material and publications and planning of and conducting advisory boards/expert panels.


    You might be our ideal candidate if you:

    Have a natural curiosity and sincere interest for pharmaceutical and medical science to drive change to the benefit of patients Have a proven track record of professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry in diabetes or cardiovascular medicine.

    Ideally, you have experience working with GLP-1 receptor agonists. Have an innate ability to interact authoritatively with key internal and external stakeholders. Are fluent in both Danish and English in oral and written forms.

    About the department The Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA) department constitutes a group of medical managers and regional medical advisors who are responsible for driving and/or supporting the scientific activities within the Novo Nordisk focus therapy areas.

    As part of our key missions, we strive to improve patients' lives by ensuring healthcare decisions are based on latest evidence.

    We collect, interpret, and implement scientific evidence and insights related to our focus areas in close collaboration with key stakeholders.

    We carry out the investigator sponsored studies (ISS) process and support generation and interpretation of real-world studies across Denmark.

    Additionally, we drive speaker selection and training and are responsible for the scientific content of external meetings such as our medical education program.
