    Responsibilities / Tasks

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Business Development Manager Services to drive the growth of our service offerings across the lifecycle. This includes service agreements, digital solutions, projects, upgrades and spare parts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies and campaigns to drive profitable growth in a global matrix organization, but also in optimizing sales processes and enabling sales organizations.

    Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the global business development and sales excellence strategy to grow Order Intake and Sales of our services portfolio by > 10% per year in alignment with the overall business objectives (multi-million p.a.)
  • Analyze the installed base to identify opportunities for growth to drive service coverage and share of wallet. Prioritize opportunities and build and execute respective plans of action.
  • Analyze sales data and provide recommendations to optimize sales operations, implement new sales strategies, and develop new processes and procedures.
  • Drive the sales funnel discipline, CRM analytics, including hit rate, win and loss analysis, methods, and processes across the global sales organization to improve sales intensity and efficiency
  • Implement specific sales campaigns and actions to drive growth in services sales, both with the installed base and new accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer service, and product management to ensure successful sales execution
  • Ensure strong alignment between the Business Units and Market Organizations wrt expected outcomes by product and application and drive the definition, execution and monitoring of respective growth plans
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and develop and refine sales strategies
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the global sales teams to drive performance and achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders to develop and execute sales enablement programs to enhance the sales team's knowledge and skills
  • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, sales excellence or sales leadership with a proven track record of success in increasing sales performance ideally in the services domain
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and processes, with experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer insights to develop sales strategies to drive growth
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and lead change initiatives
  • Experience in services in the capital equipment manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Fluent English skills required
