    Job Responsibilities

    As a Backend Engineer, you will join one of our product teams. We place a high value on superior software craftsmanship, adherence to coding best practices, and a team-oriented spirit. In our inclusive environment, everyone has the voice to suggest changes and improvements.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and optimizing scalable backend systems.
  • Collaborating with other teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensuring great code quality that helps our customers solve real world problems.
  • Receiving feedback from our users and making our product even better

    • Background & Skills

  • Proven experience as a NodeJS backend developer who knows TypeScript really, really well.
  • Experienced in designing robust APIs
  • Proficient with relational databases.
  • Working with message queues such as Kafka.
  • Experience writing test automation (unit, integration, end to end, contract tests).
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and testable code.

    • While nice to haves include familiarity with Open Telemetry, gRPC, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL would be awesome but it's not mandatory. If you know Java or Go that's a big plus.
