    Are you an experienced laboratory technician passionate about in vitro biological assays and automation? Join us at Novo Nordisk as a Senior Laboratory Technician and be part of an innovative team developing life-changing therapies.


    The Role
    The position is part of the Centre for Functional Assays & Screening where you will collaborate with scientists and technicians to plan and execute biological screening assays with a focus on automation.


    As a Senior Laboratory Technician, you will:

    • Plan and conduct experiments with automation solutions
    • Develop cellular in vitro assays with medium and high throughput
    • Analyze data and document experimental work
    • Participate in troubleshooting
    • Work with mammalian cell cultures and biological assays


    You will also contribute to enhancing workflows in the department for continuous improvements.


    Requirements
    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • Education as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent
    • Experience with mammalian cell culture
    • Strong laboratory skills and experience with biological assays
    • Interest and experience in screening with automation solutions
    • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication


    Additional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, biotech, and programming is a plus. Being an independent, structured, and proactive team player with strong communication skills is essential.

    The Centre for Functional Assays & Screening at Novo Nordisk in Måløv, Denmark, specializes in conducting biologically relevant screening assays with a focus on automation. We strive for high-quality data to support drug development in collaboration with other departments.


    CFAS comprises scientists, technicians, and students working together to identify new treatment options for chronic diseases.
