    Do you want to be a part of Novo Nordisk's most significant expansion project in Hillerød to expand our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity for Biotech production? The finished facility will employ approximately 340 colleagues and feature state-of-the-art technology for new processes and products.

    We have several open positions for Process Engineers profiles with different levels of experience in our new facility project, both within Downstream Process and Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) Systems.

    The Position

    As a Process Engineer you will join the project in a phase, where we are finalizing the design on our equipment and have started FAT on other. We are preparing to install process equipment in our facility, validation activities are on-going and we are preparing for running a production.

    Your key tasks will include:

    • Participation in FATs and project execution to enable a streamlined implementation of the new equipment.

    • Align on the technical decisions together with our local project team, central core team stakeholders and the suppliers.

    • Review of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) protocols and reports, oversight during qualification tests, supporting project team with qualification, deviations etc.

    • Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for future production and developing training procedures in collaboration with operators and other users.

    • After validation is complete, you will ensure stable production of the running manufacturing facility, perform re-qualifications, handle deviations and compliance issues.

    In this position, you will work in collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders. This will include the Work Package Owner (WPO), local production specialist, IT/Automation specialist, operation responsible and operators, as well as engineering partners during the project phase.

    Some travel activities must be expected.

    Qualifications

    To succeed in this role, you have:

    • An academic degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar.

    • Experience within life-science industry and working with cGMP.

    • If newly graduated you have experience with large scale production equipment from your studies.

    • Experience within API production / validation will be highly advantageous.

    • Full professional proficiency in English, Danish is a plus.

    Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
