    The team waiting for you
    You will be part of Agile Deliveries in Development Data, Digital and IT and will work in Søborg, Denmark. We are a dedicated team of around 150 people in Denmark and 75 in India, responsible for the development & implementation, support & maintenance and operation of IT solutions for the Development area (R&D) in Novo Nordisk.

    In the department, you will join a group of 5 Agile Coaches. Knowledge sharing with peers and learning is an integral part of the job, and you will be able to build on our collective experience in your own development as well as in developing the agile delivery engines, in the form of agile release trains, team-of-teams or stand-alone agile teams and its members.

    The position
    As Agile Coach, you will become a key member of our Lean Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE) and join one of our the agile delivery engines, setting direction for our agile transformation and being responsible for initiatives in and across our agile deliveries.

    In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Collaborate with the RTE, PM and SA to drive the relentless improvement in the agile delivery engine
  • Work with coaching of agile teams as well as on individual level with coaching of e.g. Scrum Masters and Product Owners to help them spot and react on improvement areas
  • Apply skills transfer techniques including one to one and group training and coaching
  • Promote an agile culture, being a positive role model while remaining pragmatic
  • Act as catalyst for change across our agile delivery engines and agile teams
  • As part of LACE, drive initiatives to bring Novo Nordisk Development to the next level of agile deliveries
  • Collaborate with the digital organization in IT and business to work efficiently with portfolio management
  • Coach and advise stakeholders in agile organizational structures and agile ways of working
  • Ensure commitment to and understanding of agile ways of working at all levels
  • An important part of your job is also to share learnings and knowledge as basis for on-going development and implementation of best practices. In general, you can expect to work closely with your coach colleagues in LACE in driving agile ways of working and in ensuring alignment and collaboration across the organization.

    Candidate profile
    To be successful in this role, we expect you to have most of, if not all, of the following:

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or similar related field
  • Agile Coach certificate and/or proven track record of hands-on experience in coaching agile teams, preferably in a scaled agile operating model (SAFe)
  • Knowledge of how to implement CI and DevOps and of the different technologies and the impact they have on the work the agile delivery engine does
  • Portfolio management; understanding of how to transform strategic themes into epics and the role of LPM to coach relevant stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of efficient use of Azure DevOps: how to link user stories, features, business objectives, epics etc. as well as how to set up workflows, metrics, dashboards, backlogs and roadmaps
  • We expect you to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives and build communities. You are skilled in adjusting your communication to meet people where they are, and feeling confident dealing also with difficult subjects
