HSE Specialist - Mariager

HSE Specialist for practical working with work environment

Do you have lots of energy and good ideas, and are you an expert in work environment? Do you want to be part of a small but passionate HSE&S Compliance Team, which is dedicated to helping our busy production and project departments on the journey towards an increasingly safe and sustainable salt production? Then you might just be the HSE Specialist we are looking for, for our salt production at Dansk Salt A/S in Mariager.

The job:

• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to incorporate a safe work environment into our projects and production processes.

• Run and develop our certified work environment management system, cf. ISO 45001, with simplicity in mind.

• Set the HSE bar for the site in Mariager, where other companies also operate.

• Initiate and run safety culture activities, including our Behavior Based Safety Program, in collaboration with the production and the working environment organization.

• Inspire, facilitate, and educate our working environment organization.

• Report, monitor and ensure that we learn from near misses.

• Ensure robust processes in our work with work permits, LoToTo, Confined Space, work at hight, hot work etc.

• Plan and carry out audits and inspections.

• Be the work environment specialist for the organization.

• Monitor and implement relevant national legal requirements and internal HSE standards in collaboration with our HSE functions at head office.

Professional profile

We expect our new colleague to:

• be technically interested and to have at least 5 years' experience with practical working with work environment within industry – preferably process industry.

• be sharp on the Danish work environment legislation and have control over risk assessments.

• be used to IT-based reporting systems and HSE management systems (including ISO

• have solid experience with and lots of good ideas for working with attitudes and behavior.

• be a strong communicator at all levels in both written and spoken Danish as well as English, which is our corporate language.
