- Utilise existing tools and data to perform spatial analytics in GIS
- Support the wider Design Technology team in understanding GIS's role in supporting business activities
- Technical coordination and development related to strategic planning (asset management related), regulatory frameworks, technical standards, and information, etc.
- Review project documents including schedules, surveys, and deliverables, and leverage this information to deliver technical services
- Lead, manage and communicate the technical aspects related to GIS deliverables to internal and external parties
- Support project leaders in technical communication with clients
- Interpret and apply government codes, ordinances, and regulations
- Assist with updates and file coordination of structure plans, transportation networks, utility corridors and land development regulations etc.
- Offer end-user support and guidance on GIS systems and processes
- Create and manage CAD/GIS workflows
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years of demonstrable experience in town planning, preferably within Middle East
- Proven expertise in delivering successful planning projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in planning software and GIS tools
- Rhino and AutoCAD are desirable
