GANNI IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL PRODUCT/PATTERN DEVELOPER FOR A MATERNITY COVER

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

As Product/Pattern developer for RTW Woven categories, you will be part of the RTW Development team at the GANNI HQ office in Copenhagen. We are looking for full-time employment for a period of 10-12 months with a starting date latest 1st of July

You will be in charge of the Product Development process and Pattern Engineering/Technical of selected RTW woven categories from initial design to sales samples arriving.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Developing products in close collaboration with Senior Designer - securing intended fit and silhouette for prototypes and incoming sales samples.
  
• Pattern development when needed and full technical view and management of styles within the assigned product group.
  
• Lineplan adherence for the category, managing overdevelopment and working with price brackets.
  
• Gatekeeping KPI's and timeline within the development phase and ensure proto sample quality.
  
• Creating style specs / tech packs, measurement charts and grading in compliance with internal guidelines
  
• Ordering and receiving Proto samples, measure and lead fittings together with the designer.
  
• Communicate proto amendments to suppliers within the collection deadlines
  
• Order sales samples and ensure timely delivery.
  
• Create, enrich and maintain product master data in ERP/PLM systems as well as supporting documents.
  
• Daily communication with GANNI suppliers
  
  

  The role requires effective collaboration with internal stakeholders from Design, Merchandise and Production Teams as well as a high level of attention to detail and confidence working in a fast-paced, hands-on and creative environment.
  
  

  The role is not supported by a Pattern Designer and therefore needs to hold this knowledge and ability to execute operationally.
  
  

  MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
    
  • Strong garment construction skills and solid technical understanding of garments
    
  • Education including pattern cutting skills
    
  • Excellent digital proficiency, skilled Adobe illustrator user and experience with Centric PLM is a plus but not a necessity
    
  • Ability to work independently in a creative capacity when required
    
  • Team approach and interpersonal skills
    
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests while working in a high pace environment
    
  • Excellent time management skills
    
  • An understanding and connection with the GANNI brand aesthetic
    
  • Worked in a contemporary or luxury fashion company
