    The Position

    In this position you will be responsible for driving cross organizational initiatives within investments and risk management, as well as work closely with our VP in our strategic forecast of sample load, making sure we make the right decisions for the future of QC and BRD. By defining initiatives that aligns with our QC strategy and other project focus areas, you will play a key role in ensuring our continued ability to meet current and future supply in a timely manner. Other focus areas will include process improvement, risk mitigation planning and footprint planning.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Investment partnering for all departments by supporting budget planning, tracking, and decision making.
    • Leading the budget process consolidation and taking ownership of the numbers.
    • Establish project governance within investments and drive automation initiatives for the process.
    • Drive risk management processes across our departments and report upwards on identified risks and mitigations.
    • Maintain and build strong communication and processes with supply chain and logistics to identify future needs in BRD QC
    • Develop, plan and execute process improvement projects in accordance with strategic goals and timelines.

    Furthermore, you will provide the management and organization with clear, structured, and concise analysis risks, productivity, and long term (+2 years) forecasting, aiding in informed decision-making and strategic planning.

    Qualifications

    To succeed in this role, you have:

    • A relevant academic degree within engineering, chemistry, business management, project management or similar.
    • 3+ years of project/stakeholder management experience.
    • A good knowledge of QC and LEAN is considered an advantage.
    • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other heavily regulated industries, such as food, cosmetical or chemical industries, is also highly advantageous.
    • Professional proficiency in oral and written English.

    On a professional level we also expect you to have strong communication skills with experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders cross functionally.

    On a personal level, you are a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize the effort across projects. You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and in an international environment. You can engage teams whilst also coaching the team members towards improvements and facilitate workshops. You are comfortable to drive decision making within your processes (strategic forecasting, risk mitigation, and investments) and can work independently.

    About the department

    We are a part of BRD QC Innovation and Business Support Department. You will become a part of a team consisting of 7 employees. Together we support with driving projects that optimize the business processes in the QC area that consist of ~400 employees.
