    To achieve Vestas' growth targets for the coming years a fundamental shift in how we operate is needed. The data platform department within Digital Solutions are empowering Vestas to unlock the full potential of data. We aim to create a consolidated and self-service platform with frameworks for automation to enable data usage across Vestas. As a Product Owner you will join a product area consisting of 4 other product teams supporting our data journey from a platform perspective. We are an enthusiastic and highly motivated team ready to welcome one more data superstar.

    Responsibilities

  • Create the product vision for the Data Catalogue, Glossary and Marketplace capabilities and mature the journey from being a strategic initiative to a well-performing, value-driven platform product.
  • Instill a robust platform to enable automated, business oriented data quality reporting.
  • Collaborate with various data producers, data consumers, data owners, data stewards on organization, assortment, presentation of data products.
  • Based on Data Governance guidelines, ensure the Data Marketplace supports classifications, data protection practices.
  • Align and manage stakeholder ambitions to ensure deliveries towards overall strategic direction.
  • Grow and cultivate a user centric, evidence guided and value driven mindset within the product team and among stakeholders in order to impact future opportunities to solve.
  • Drive product backlog refinement from idea to development and together with product team members based on user qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Qualifications

    Overall, we value a combination of technical expertise, hands-on experience, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving data technologies and requirements within Vestas.

    Preferred experience in working with at least one of the following areas:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree and 3+ years' experience working as Product Owner or Digital Product Manager within a data area.
  • Experience working with data governance, data platform or an analytics functions.
  • Interest in topics such as data mesh, data contracts and data quality automation.
  • Proven history of successfully navigating a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • Experience from working in a Product-oriented organization.
  • Proven experience developing engineering teams to design, deliver and optimize new product.

  • Fluency in English in both oral and written - Danish is not a prerequisite.
  • Think commercially when developing your product; i.e. focusing on who are you enabling with your product and what is the value proposition of your product to the users/teams consuming your product and to Vestas.
  • Engage and align multiple stakeholder viewpoints and combine into a well crafted product vision and roadmap.
  • Can facilitate cross-team workshops and discovery activities in close collaboration with Product Designer and Tech Lead.
  • Set direction for your digital product but also deliver on your plans and achieve measurable results.
