    AFRYs business unit specialized in Supply Chain Management (SCM) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Advisor to support our Danish and Nordic clients. The successful applicant will have a significant strategic role in building up and strengthening AFRYs supply chain and logistics capabilities in Denmark.

    As a Senior Advisor and Consultant at AFRY you will be responsible for the development of our clients future logistical setup. You will get to work with the leading companies in the Nordic region as well as to strengthen their global capabilities. The typical assignment includes the following process steps:

  • Being a significant part of the sales process and presenting AFRYs offering
  • Defining customers' needs and gaps based on data and workshops with customers
  • Data analyses and solution design
  • Supplier involvement and selection
  • Project execution and follow-up
  • Go-live and ramp-up support
  • We expect that the candidate also will be a part of the development and execution of AFRY SCMs strategic goals in Denmark and the Nordics. You will be based in our office in Herlev, (or other AFRY office), but a major part of your time will be spent on-site with customers. You can expect 30-40 days of travel within the Nordic region. Together with AFRYs passionate and skilled consultants colleagues in Denmark, you will also have the opportunity to work in a true cross-competence environment.

    Qualifications

    We expect a minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with intra-logistics and Supply Chain Management. This could either be from experience with logistic and Supply Chain Management within a larger company or combined with consultancy experience. You must be experienced in working in projects with a high focus on quality. We also expect that you have experience in working with analysis and problem-solving tasks. You are a quick learner and able to put yourself in the position of the customer to evaluate their potential issues. Your personality reflects a high drive, an analytical and structured way of working and good communication skills.

    We also believe you have:

  • A master's degree in supply chain management, logistics and/or similar (M.A. or M.Sc.)
  • Documented experience with intralogistics and, preferably, knowledge of AGVs/AMRs and different warehouse technologies
  • WMS selection and implementation experience
  • Solid experience with data processing and analysis
  • English skills both in writing and oral is a must, knowledge of Nordic language is preferable
