    The Role:

    This role entails providing not only hands-on technical but also application support to our customers and colleagues. Work on-site at a variety of labs and support the customers with product solutions across our Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy portfolio , as well as multi-vendor systems solutions:

  • Install and optimize hardware/software/network products, perform maintenance and repairs, diagnose and resolve product performance issues, address applications related issues and provide end-to-end solution at customer sites; deliver fully coordinated solutions , which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding and training users on preventive maintenance and configurations, as well as how to effectively use the systems to their advantage. Demonstrate and train customers how to use and optimize high end features of Agilent' software platforms to their benefit. Additionally, share your expertise and train other Service Engineers across Agilent's product solutions
  • Work with the sales teams to deliver bespoke one-to-one consulting related to the customer's specific needs.
  • Applying interpersonal skills, creativity and a can-do approach are fundamental for the role.
  • Qualifications

    The candidate requirements:

  • have a Bachelor or Master or PHD degree in science or engineering , including but not limited to chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar,
  • Experience and expertise with Spectroscopy techniques (AA, UV-VIS, ICPOES, ICPMS, FTIR) preferred in a similar position or as an End-user,
  • have user experience in instrument data analysis software,
  • problem-solving skills, particularly for fixing, applications support and/or general instrument maintenances.
  • Apart from these more technical skills, we are also looking for:

  • a strong desire to learn and expand your skill set,
  • enjoy working remotely, whilst engaging and visiting customers on-site,
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • the ability to coordinate and prioritize efficiently,
  • a strong attention to detail and processes, ensuring compliance with Agilent's Quality standards,
  • ability to handle customer expectations and balance customer requirements with business needs,
  • What we offer:

    The full-time, permanent position, based in the Denmark and occasionally rest of Nordic, is available as soon as possible. The role won't be head-office based but working remotely from home combined with travel to customer sites within your assigned geography (a company car will be available to you).
