    Sustainability Manager - Climate Accounting & SBTi (Maternity Cover)
    Help Drive Data-Driven Climate Action in a Leading Food Company
    At Danish Crown, we challenge ourselves to find better solutions for the future. As part of our commitment to responsible business practices, we are now looking for a Sustainability Manager to join us on a maternity cover contract. In this role, you will strengthen our climate accounting and sustainability reporting efforts, particularly in relation to our SBTi commitment and LCA calculations.
    Empower Climate Action Through Data
    You will be part of the ESG and Sustainability team within Group Sustainability, where you'll take ownership of our climate accounting and SBTi roadmap, while ensuring compliance with relevant sustainability legislation. You'll support the entire organization with calculations, insights, and help maintain momentum on carbon reduction initiatives across the business.

    Your responsibilities will include driving our climate accounting and overseeing progress on our SBTi-aligned roadmap. You will play a key role in our sustainability reporting-ensuring timely and accurate data for our annual report in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

    Furthermore, you'll also support our LCA Manager with calculations and quality assurance. We work closely with our colleagues across business units and countries, helping to advance our sustainability agenda in a dynamic and fast-evolving landscape.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive our climate accounting (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
    • Drive our SBTi commitment and support progress on business-led decarbonization plans
    • Be responsible for climate-related data in our sustainability and annual reports
    • Ensure data quality and governance in ESG reporting
    • Monitor and implement relevant climate-related legislation and standards (e.g., ESRS E1)
    • Contribute to the strategic development of climate-related initiatives and targets
    • Assist the LCA Manager with product footprint calculations and customer-facing materials

    Travel is expected to be limited (approximately 10-15 days per year). The position is based at our headquarters in Randers or at our office in Copenhagen, depending on your preference.

    Your Profile

    • Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in carbon accounting and Scope 3 methodologies
    • Proven experience with SBTi and decarbonization strategies
    • Experience with LCA and data-driven analysis is a plus
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
    • Fluent in English-spoken and written
