    Your new role

    As our new Software Category Manager you will be reporting to Henrik Bruun-Pedersen, Head of IT Procurement, also based in Copenhagen.

    Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and implementing multiyear category plans for assigned categories (demand planning, strategy creation including preparation of business cases, market approach, negotiation, contract creation, relationship management and risk management)
  • Procuring software and other services focusing on risk management, total cost of ownership and contract value realization
  • Leading commercial and contractual negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders resulting in trusting relationships that allow for evaluation, influencing and challenging the status quo; driving compliance and adoption of procurement policies
  • Collaborating with suppliers to develop new capabilities, drive relationships and drive cost- & process improvements
  • Working with suppliers to jointly deliver on the sustainability agenda

    You will be working in our IT Procurement department, which is part of the Global Procurement organization reporting to our CFO.

    You will be part of a global IT Procurement organization with presence in both Denmark and India. We are a growing team with global end-2-end responsibility of the contract lifecycle, including RFP's, Contract Mgmt and Vendor Mgmt.

    Our team covers all categories of the IT portfolio, from IT operational solutions, over cloud infrastructure, software and end-user equipment to business related engineering solutions.

  • Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or Law
  • 5-8 years of IT Procurement or related Category Management experience
  • Experience in negotiating IT contracts, with emphasis on software contracts
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Good stakeholder management skills – with ability to build relationships
  • Fluent in English
