- Collaborate with the Commodity Manager in Procurement to craft a comprehensive supplier management strategy for responsible commodities
- Drive team members to implement targeted actions for achieving objectives
- Define terms and requirements for Quality Assurance Agreements, ensuring finalization and contract signing with suppliers
- Work closely with procurement to select, qualify, monitor, and develop suppliers according to the Supplier Management procedure
- Conduct on-site supplier assessments with cross-functional teams as part of the qualification process
- Collaborate with designers and suppliers to establish Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements and set up necessary control points
- Ensure proper validation of processes and equipment used in product production by the supplier
- Verify that the supplier has established the correct processes for product delivery specifications
- Work closely with designers and reliability engineers to set up test protocols for First Article release, review reports, and coordinate investigations for major product and process changes initiated by suppliers
- Define and establish a global incoming inspection test plan and procedure, aiming to improve cost and delivery performance from the supplier
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for supplier monitoring
- Collaborate with Business Quality to track performance and conduct regular meetings for performance reviews
- Define improvement activities with suppliers through SCAR or equivalent processes
- Participate in annual supplier performance assessments
- Perform on-site audits at suppliers
- Track and review Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities resulting from the audit
- Experience in a high mixed, low volume medical device manufacturing
- Involvement in supplier selection, supplier qualification, supplier control and monitoring, and supplier assessment
- Experience in managing outsource supplier
- Familiar with PCB manufacturing process, and PCBA assembly process
- Specialized Knowledge in Contract Management, Statistical Process Control and production part approval process
- Certified as a Quality Manager or Lead auditor
