About the department Obesity and Liver Pharmacology is part of Integrated Physiology Research, which is anchored in Global Drug Discovery in Novo Nordisk.

Global Drug Discovery specialises in the discovery of biological medicines for the treatment of cardiometabolic and rare diseases.

Integrated Physiology Research is a global unit consisting of five departments (located in Måløv, Denmark and Boston, US) with in vivo pharmacology and micro-physiological systems at our core.

The Obesity and Liver Pharmacology department is based in Måløv, Denmark.

The research site is a vibrant and inclusive workplace hosting scientists, post-docs, PhD students, research assistants and technicians and has an international work environment.

The department delivers high quality rodent and large animal in vivo data with a translational focus on obesity and MASH and is driving ideation based on scientific excellence within obesity physiology.

We collaborate closely with our colleagues within Integrated Physiology Research, in vitro biology, chemistry, Global Translation and beyond to drive projects forward and translate our findings into novel, effective treatments for obesity.

We always strive for excellence and continuously develop our expertise to stay ahead - both as a company and as individuals.
