Lead/Principal Piping/Layout Engineer

Role Context:

As a Lead/Principal Piping Engineer you will provide piping engineering services on large projects to Worley' and its customers', including technical support and supervision within the piping engineering team

You'll be:

·Deliver piping engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

·Initiate, manage and if required supervise piping engineering project requirements.

·Thinking creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems

·Perform piping engineering services such as:

Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures;

Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;

Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.

You'll have:

·A recognised and relevant engineering degree.

·Plant Layout and Piping Design experience within an EPC/EPCm environment

·Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.

·A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the piping engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.

·Extensive experience working on brownfield projects

·Extensive Site survey experience

·A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements ie: UK, European and ASME/ASTM

·Competent use of piping engineering specific 3D design software ie: PDMS, E3D
