HR Business Partner – Unicon Denmark A/S
Unicon Denmark A/S is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with strong business acumen and solid execution capability. You will play a key role in the leadership team and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organisation.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to translate business strategy into concrete HR actions and ensure a value-adding HR effort that supports both business objectives and employee well-being. You will work across various functions and be an integral part of a strong Regional HR team.
The Role
- You will act as both a strategic and operational sparring partner to management within a very dynamic business area. Your responsibility is to ensure professional and value-adding HR support across the full spectrum of core HR disciplines – leadership and organisational performance management and talent development, employee engagement.
- You will drive and ensure quality in HR processes, securing consistent and business-oriented implementation.
- You will support management with workforce planning, budget follow-up and data-driven decision support.
- You handle complex employee and labour relations matters with professionalism and sound judgement and bring solid experience in negotiating, interpreting and applying collective and local agreements.
You will report to the Nordic& Baltic Region HR Director and in dotted line to Managing Director of Unicon A/S Denmark, ensuring both strategic HR alignment and strong local business anchoring.
You will be part of a dynamic HR team with specialists in Talent Management & Leadership Development and HR Operations, HR Controlling together with HR Partners from other BUs in the Nordic & Baltic Region.
Your Profile
- You bring 6-8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a large, operations-driven organisation – ideally within production, industry or logistics. You are accustomed to working close to the business and thrive in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
- You hold a master's degree in HRM, business, psychology, or a related field.
- You combine solid knowledge of HR processes and employment law with strong commercial understanding and analytical capability.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, and a trusted advisor, balancing strategic goals with employee well-being, balancing long-term strategic HR initiatives with hands-on support.
- You are clear in your communication and able to build credibility with managers, employees and union representatives alike.
- Possess strong knowledge and experience with of labour law, collective agreements, and HR compliance.
- Be fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
Location and Mobility
Unicon's primary office is in Vejle, and the company operates 33 concrete plants distributed across Denmark, requiring a visible and hands-on HR presence in the business.
The role will therefore involve regular visits to production sites as well as visits to Aalborg for where Regional HR organisation located.
