Project Engineer with passion for decommissioning and recycling

M.A.R.S. Europe is looking for an Project Engineer for permanent employment.

Are you driven by exciting engineering projects, where you must think the process in reverse, and break down rather than build? Do you thrive with responsibility and as a team player? Then the position as an Project Engineer at M.A.R.S. Europe could be something for you.

We decommission, reuse, and recycle drilling rigs, ships, and other offshore structures. The past few years have been full of development, and we need you on the team.

You will be a part of multicultural engineering team. Your tasks will primarily consist of, structure deconstruction planning, calculation of lifting, communication with operational crew, as well as description of the work to customers. You will also be planning workflows in relation to the production's crane work.

As a person, you are structured, curious and good at seeking solutions. You thrive on working independently, but also work in collegial collaboration.

Qualifications:

Relevant education as an engineer (structural/mechanical), preferably with experience in the field.

May have been offshore.

Can speak and write English at a high level.

Familiar with Auto CAD, Inventor and Mathcad.

Familiar with FEM is an advantage (GeniE/Sesam).
