    The position

    As a Programmer for Clinical Development at Novo Nordisk, you will be part of the Biostatistics team, utilizing your programming knowledge to explore clinical studies.

    The Programmer is responsible for:

    • Planning, managing, and executing statistical programming deliverables in clinical studies
    • Providing input, such as tables, figures, and listings, to the required documents for the studies
    • Ensuring that clinical study tasks align with the project specifications
    • Delivering high quality, robust code, and data to health authorities.
    • Utilizing advanced programming techniques and contributing to the development of Biostatistics.

    Qualifications

    The core requirements to succeed in this position are:

    • MSc or PhD in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background).
    • 3+ years of experience with scientific programming and preferably 1+ year within clinical development or biostatistics.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive projects as a proactive team member.
    • Ability to drive progress autonomously and engage in clear decision-making.
    • Skilled programmer within R, Python, and/or SAS.
    • Positive mindset and a passion for fostering constructive innovation.

    About the department

    Our Biostatistics organization consists of 400 people, with the majority located in Denmark and India, and smaller teams in China, Japan, Spain, UK, and US. We primarily perform our statistical work in-house, offering a wide variety of statistical tasks and challenges, and providing a large scientific community.
