Business Development Representative
Do you want to be at the forefront of Hakio's commercial efforts, identifying potential clients, sparking conversations, and qualifying leads? We're looking for a BDR to grow our sales pipeline and help our commercial team connect Hakio's forecasting platform with the right retailers and brands.
Why we're here?
At Hakio, we combat global waste in logistics, production, and consumption of fashion. Our platform helps brands like Hummel, Carhartt, and Organic Basics make better, faster, and more accurate decisions. This reduces overproduction and avoids lost sales due to poor stock visibility.

And we're a startup, meaning we're always evolving. We think change is exciting - it keeps us on our toes. While some of us love sticking to a good plan more than others, a common trait is that we're not afraid to shake things up when we learn something new.

You're commercially hungry and happiest when there's a strong playbook you can both follow and influence. People trust you because you always deliver on what you promise. You might also have heard that you talk a lot. You know how to tell an engaging story, and you can turn a complex topic into something anyone can understand.
You are structured, data-, and target-driven by nature – a person of action, practical in your solutions, persistent, and pragmatic.
And when it matters most, you know how to switch on "focus mode," going deep without distractions until the job is done.
What you will do
- Prospect and qualify potential clients through outbound efforts (Cold calling, email, Linkedin. etc)
- Book meetings and spark interest in Hakio's platform and offering
- Collaborate with the commercial team to improve outreach strategies
- Track and manage outreach in our CRM system
- Support the sales team with research, preparation, and follow-ups
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, cold calling, lead generation- experience from a tech startup or scaleup is a bonus.
- Fluency in English (written & spoken)
- A curious, persistent, and resourceful when approaching new challenges
- An eagerness to reach targets, create opportunities, and drive business
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- An eagerness to learn, are open to feedback, and driven by a growth mindset
- Familiarity with HubSpot and Sales Navigator
- Interest in retail, fashion, or e-commerce industries
