    The position
    As our new Global Maintenance Engineer you will have the responsibility and ownership of creating, implementing and governing standardized maintenance activities for new fleets of production lines, with focus on maintaining the standardized equipment throughout its Life Cycle, from implementation until decommissioning, in line with the global standards and asset management strategy for IFP.

    You will report to the Global IFP Maintenance and Engineering Team. As such, you will maintain a key role in providing feedback and improvement to the global maintenance standards to deploy to future lines. You will develop a baseline for future platforms where you will also play a key role to transfer the knowledge and concepts to other processes and equipment.

    Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing, implementing, and sustaining a standardized approach for maintenance strategies of new production fleets.
  • Establishing equipment hierarchy, risk evaluation criteria, defining reliability actions, and refining equipment maintenance strategies to ensure high reliability on new lines.
  • Supporting maintenance activities at the Supplier and IFP Sites to ensure that the standards are deployed and adjusted accordingly.
  • Ensuring the lines are kept standard across all sites, through management of maintenance activities and oversight for future changes.
  • Supporting the IFP Sites and AMPP in providing direction for standard methodology related to maintenance. You can also look forward to other tasks, such as coordinating, supporting and executing maintenance activities in collaboration with other Maintenance Engineers, Project Managers and Global Implementation Managers together with local site project teams.

    The lines will be located at existing IFP sites, with existing experience and knowledge of earlier generation lines. As such, the sites will participate actively in executing planned activities together with you. However, some travel is to be expected (app. 30%) along with supporting sites in the office hours for the given site.

    Qualifications
    The understanding of industrial equipment in the pharma industry or similar is a must, and experience with automated visual inspection is a plus. Basic knowledge of the aseptic process is an advantage we imagine, however, that an ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:
  • An academic degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Relevant years of experience in maintenance activities via CMMS (SAP PM/MM).
  • Technical field experience in a global context, including international assignments.
  • Profound project management knowledge and experience being part of global teams.
  • Broad hands-on experience in maintenance and asset management activities in pharma.
  • Fluent in English, and at easy with communicating clearly in a dynamic and global context.
  • Self-driven and Continuous Improvement minded. On a personal level, you have a high level of integrity, are open-minded and curious, and therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You are a team player, a great collaborator, and you utilize your relationships with your stakeholders to achieve success in your projects and tasks. You have a strong personal drive, are ambitious, not afraid to challenge the status quo in a risk-adverse industry, and act as a problem-solver. You are capable to drive execution from idea conception all the way through to effectiveness checks. You can communicate complex technical issues in a clear manner, and you have the desire to work with in a global context with manufacturing sites and in global headquarters.
