Job summary
This position performs duties associated with warehouse and/or inventory management including receiving shipments verifying items inspecting condition of items performing operational checks on equipment in inventory comparing count/measure of items to purchase orders and packing lists resolving discrepancies tracking delayed orders documenting goods/services purchased received issued by recording identifying information using appropriate tracking method providing status updates to stakeholders on variances preparing items for shipment ensuring safe delivery determining most economical efficient shipping method documenting items shipped recording identifying information transport information completing purchase requests verifying inventory specifications purchase requests preparing stock equipment requisitions inputting purchase orders quotes service requests expediting deliveries assisting invoice processing replacing repairing damaged obsolete items using appropriate tools following internal guidelines resolving discrepancies receiving identifying damaged items shortages quantity materials placing materials inventory conferring various entities making adjustments correcting shortages obtaining credits monitoring maintaining inventory applying fundamental control techniques monitoring level replenishment lead times anticipating needed items updating forecasts minimum maximum stock levels performing periodic cycle counts inventories coordinating disposition directed supporting operations providing training troubleshooting issues phases receiving shipping cycle serving liaison purchasing vendors staff members resolve operational issues operating types equipment pallet lift forkliift
