Your new role
Being our new Senior DevOps Specialist, you will be an essential part in enhancing the developer experience and our productivity as we scale up. You will be part of building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines as well as spreading best practices of DevOps and general software engineering.

We aim to have reliable, repeatable, highly automated, build pipelines, configured as code. Shared and customized build systems serve a variety of teams from mobile, webapps, image processing, to backend services.

Our builds and test are orchestrated using Jenkins and our source control is hosted in Gitlab on-premise. The CI/CD platforms are Linux and Windows, deployed internally in containers and on virtual machines. Production is AWS and some of our infrastructure is orchestrated using CloudFormation.

It will be your responsibility together with the team to help maintain and evolve these systems to best serve the needs of our developers. Your challenges will consist of a mix of technical tasks and non-technical tasks, such as getting stakeholders onboard and invested.

To supplement our DevOps team, we have a dedicated DevOps guild helping with implementing best practices and sharing experiences across Dalux. Our development is characterized by a very pragmatic agile methodology with frequent releases. We apply the same pragmatism to DevOps and once value is demonstrated we are able to implement changes with great success.

About you
You have a background as Software Developer and an educational background within Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. You have experience with DevOps and see this as your strongest asset, but still enjoy coding. Ideally, you have been part of driving DevOps transformations previously and have a keen eye for CI and/or CD.

Who is Dalux?
