Project Manager

Role Context:

Project: Working on a greenfield Danish ports and pipelines project designed for the transportation and storage of domestic and international CO2 emissions. Designed to be a large scale, economical and safe CO2 storage network with the aim to work towards the zero emissions by 2030 and 2050 climate goals.

You will:

Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, procurement, construction and the Project Management team and ensures effective transfer of information between all relevant parties.

Participate in the planning and scheduling of the scope and provide input to the project technical document register.

Monitor and report progress, addresses shortfalls, assist in developing recovery plans where required and ensure plans are implemented. Provide feedback to Direct Supervisor and engineering discipline supervisors as and when required on the progress.

Ensure participation of the engineering and construction team members in project engineering reviews and assists in resolution of any issues arising out of the same.

Attend project review meetings and ensure that associated reports are compiled and distributed accordingly.

Ensure that interface issues between disciplines are addressed and seek management advice and assistance where required.

Assist in the production of the project execution plan and prepare the coordination procedures for the project.

Provide progress monitoring and report against the plan. Implement corrective action with assistance from Direct Supervisor, as and when variations from plans occur.

Be capable of formulating resolutions to technically challenging and/or high-profile issues with support from Engineering/Project services personnel and resolving with Project Management and Client.

Coordinate preparation and presentation of the final documentation in accordance with requirements of the Client acceptance certificates.

Participate in a formal review of the project with relevant parties on completion and identifies opportunities for learning and development.

You'll have:

Experience of FEED/ Detailed Design and EPC or PMC projects and demonstratable experience in all project phases

Experience with directly managing vendors

Knowledge of other engineering disciplines.

Knowledge of international equipment specifications and codes.

Knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.

Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.

Typically, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Chartered Status preferred.

Related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil & Gas or manufacturing Industry.

Ability to travel internationally on an as required basis
