    Are you looking for an opportunity where you can support leadership development and thereby business development? Do you want to be involved in helping to ensure operational excellence through supporting LEAN behavior at our manufacturing facilities focused on supplying medicine for patients living with rare diseases?

    If so, we welcome a LEAN Coach to join us within Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD) based in Gentofte

    The position

    As a LEAN Coach, you will be welcomed into BRD with a focus on supporting LEAN leadership behavior across our manufacturing sites. Our facilities are currently on a growth journey and LEAN is and will be one of our most essential tools on that journey to ensure an efficient manufacturing process of medicine for patients living with rare diseases. You contribute to that journey through a structured coaching approach by following our managers at different levels on shopfloor and providing feedback, teaching, and coaching.

    As part of your main responsibilities, you will:

    • Identify scope and drive initiatives, form a LEAN coaching perspective, enabling us to reach our ambitious business goals.
    • Take on a train the trainer role, to further mature and develop other LEAN resources in the area, as you are mature in the role.

    You will be part of a LEAN network across different manufacturing facilities where you will have the opportunity to share knowledge and gain inspiration from others.

    Qualifications

    You will be a great asset to our team because your experiences include:

    • A relevant academic degree with experience/ knowledge within applying LEAN at shop floor.
    • Experience from a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Experience in supporting, guiding, and advising colleagues. Experience/ knowledge with coaching and providing feedback is advantageous.
    • An understanding of LEAN tools, e.g. performance management, visual management, systematic problem solving and process confirmations.
    • Fluency in English both written and spoken.

    On a personal level, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relations at all levels. You excel at supporting stakeholders at shop floor and provide feedback and reflections. You work in a systematic and a structured way that supports keeping track of progress and planning further actions.

    About the department

    Aseptic Production site Gentofte is part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). At our sites across Gentofte, we are more than 700 colleagues responsible for the aseptic production where we are transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into finished products for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, and freeze-drying in a sterile environment. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in a timely and cost-effective manner as we constantly optimize our processes and invest in new technology.
