    The position

    The Senior Manager for the Project Management Office (PMO) will lead a team of Project Managers and Change Managers responsible for executing major cross-organizational improvement projects, as well as improvement projects within Quality Systems. The PMO is responsible for project design, development, and execution, planning, coordination, and progress adherence, identifying the right competencies and people to execute each project, stakeholder engagement and communication, risk and issue management, and budgeting and reporting.

    Your key responsibilities will include,

    • Motivating, coaching, leading, and setting direction for your team

    • Building and maintaining strong collaboration with your stakeholders across the organization

    • Ownership of the project portfolio across QS and ensuring continuous alignment with the strategic direction for the area, including QS needs and goals

    • Establishing and maintaining a standard set of Project Management and Change Management standards, processes and best practices

    • Building the team's ability to effectively translate business priorities into operational plans

    Qualifications

    We're seeking candidates that have the following prerequisites –


    • You have a Master's degree in science, engineering, or a related field

    • 5+ years of experience leading strategic, complex, cross-functional projects in regulated industries

    • Proven success in project leadership

    • Advantageous to have experience with change management frameworks, such as ADKAR

    • You have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong attention to detail.

    As an individual, you exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, such as a positive, open, honest and holistic approach, excellent interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and analytical abilities.

    About the department

    Novo Nordisk Quality's Quality Systems (QS) department comprises around 300 highly skilled Quality professionals based in Bagsværd, Denmark, and Bangalore, India. The primary objective of QS is to develop and maintain our Quality Management System, which promotes robust business performance and simplifies quality processes. The responsibilities of this department include process ownership of core quality processes, ownership and support of major quality-relevant IT systems, driving major cross-organizational improvement projects for Quality, and IT Quality. This role is based in Bagsværd.
