- Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet required specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs and technical drawings.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems into larger projects.
- Research and stay updated on advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and methodologies.
- Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and manuals.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation processes.
- Identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical systems during all stages of product development and manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all designs and activities. You will Have:
- Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Membership of an industry related Professional institution such as CIBSE /CIOB / IEI or equivalent
- IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training
- Planning and Programming
- Live Energies / Arc Flash Training
- Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineer at ACIBSE level or equivalent is desired.
- Data Centre project experience
