    The position
This position is within Novo Nordisk's Injectable Finished Production (IFP) factory in Hillerød. Here, we use a broad array of Lean tools and practices. We also stylize it as cLEAN, where the "c" stands for "current" and reflects the need to constantly adapt and evolve in a cGMP environment. One tool that supports our site strategy is the Hoshin Kanri, which we use to cascade from global breakthrough targets down to weekly shop floor KPIs.
In this role, you will own our site Hoshin Kanri, as well as the process for building it with stakeholder engagement. This will include developing the annual calendar of reflecting on past performance and must-win battles, setting annual objectives, and building plans for the upcoming year. You will own the vision & strategy and work closely with experienced cLEAN partners & stakeholders in the organization to make it happen.

    Your main tasks will include:

  • Set direction for the site's long-term improvement in key areas like quality, delivery, and cost, and communicate this vision clearly to all levels of the organization
  • Develop, share, and coach department stakeholders in the systems we need to plan resources and improvement projects, and visualize performance in leading ways
  • Facilitate monthly meetings with the site's senior leadership, including coaching leaders to speak with data and adjust target or plans in line with performance
  • Working closely with the digitalization team to identify and visualize the necessary KPIs
  • Collaborate with cLEAN partners and leaders to ensure communication and coaching within all departments aligns with the site-wide vision

    Qualifications
To be successful in this position, we imagine you have:

  • A degree in business management, industrial engineering, operations management or related field with 10+ years of experience in process improvement, consulting, strategy deployment or change management
  • Practical experience in utilizing Lean tools such as Hoshin Kanri and value stream mapping
  • Experience building and deploying a strategy across multiple business functions and organizational levels, including setting targets and managing stakeholders
  • A strong track record successfully managing complex projects and coordinating resources through informal lines of reporting
  • Comfort working independently under short deadlines and agility working around the constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

On a personal level, you're motivated to achieve business goals with real-world meaning and you're excited to unlock the potential in a young organization to make it happen. You naturally create followership and inspire people to come together in pursuit of a shared ambition. You are a naturally curious person who seeks to understand a diverse and complex business. Across all your work, you have a proactive mindset to anticipate risks and an energetic and positive way of working that keeps colleagues engaged even when things get tough.

    About the department
You will be a part of the Operational Excellence department, reporting to its senior manager. This department combines cLEAN, Digitalization, Training, and other site-level specialist individual contributors.
