- Plan, design, and implement maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance engineering work, including reviewing mechanical and electrical engineering specifications, and performing engineering reviews of proposed new equipment designs.
- Liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections, and the supply of new equipment.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Perform operational maintenance and repair of equipment in production areas.
- Establish a new team.
- A degree within engineering or a related field.
- +2 years of experience working as a people manager.
- Proven experience in planning and implementing maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Full proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish.

About the Department
Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
