    Are you passionate about commercial excellence and venture investments? We are searching for the right person to join our team at Denmark's Export & Investment Fund (EIFO) - the Danish Sovereign Investment Fund - as an Associate in the Commercial Excellence team, within the investment division. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to further develop the start-up and venture ecosystem in Denmark.

    About The Commercial Excellence Team
    The Investment Commercial Excellence Team is core to implementing EIFO's Investment Strategy by establishing a leading investment platform to ultimately provide value to the Danish start-up and venture ecosystem. We bring data to decisions, optimize workflows, establish thought leadership, and work to implement cutting-edge technology.

    About the job
    We are looking for an associate to help build the newly established commercial excellence unit. The role will include the opportunity to help build new ways of working, with a high degree of ownership while learning from a team of experienced investors and entrepreneurs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the direct and Funds of Funds teams in all commercial processes.
    • Design and own pipeline and portfolio-related systems and processes.
    • Provide market analyses on the venture market.
    • Find and implement new systems to support the team in key processes.
    • Provide management reporting on key metrics and create decision-making material.
    • Support the facilitation of target setting and KPI/OKR implementation.

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience in commercial excellence, finance, venture capital, or similar roles.
    • Experience with systems as eFront and Microsoft Dynamics.
    • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
    • Passion for investing and interest in understanding technologies and trends.
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
    • Team player with a proactive attitude and a drive to contribute to the broader mission of EIFO.
