    The role as Technical Drawing Engineer
    As Technical Drawing Engineer you will establish corporate drawing standards, manage drafting updates carried out by 3rd parties, and oversee the administration of drawing management using multiple software systems. Some of the tasks are:

    • Drive, develop, recommend, and independently lead development of drawing standards, drawing management practices and oversee the collection of data architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical changes and incorporation of this information into Bavarian Nordic as built drawings, schematic and maps
    • Function as an SME on technical drawing management and in cross functional department teams as needed for design projects
    • Draft highly complex 2D and 3D drawings, charts, schedules, etc. in support of global and site engineering departments
    • Develop an overall file structure for Engineering Documentation to drive consistency
    • Create project closeout turnover package requirements for documentation to third party service providers which includes compliance with the Bavarian Nordic drawing and file structure
    • Prepare "As-Built" drawings based on field red-line markups as needed
    • Ensure all drawings and materials are in accordance with specifications and standards
    • Make general recommendations on the utilization of new drafting/design techniques
    • Manage the Bavarian Nordic drawing system and establish appropriate procedures

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in a related technical area
    • 5+ years of experience within this area
    • Experience with key drawing management software platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, Meridian etc.) required FDA/GMP knowledge or experience in a similar regulated industry required
    • Experience with development/updating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical, machine design, architectural, civil and construction design
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation of process equipment or manufacturing processes
    • Document control experience required
    • Must be able to verify drawings with actual installations
    • Experience matching drawings from different trades and plan check discrepancies required
    • General knowledge of National/state building codes preferred
    • Experience working on design projects of plant system such as Purified Water, HVAC, Steam, Compressed air, Manufacturing systems etc.
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

    Our team
    You will be part of our Automation, Utility and Engineering Support department located in Kvistgaard. The department plays a vital role in strategy execution, from participating in early CAPEX project design phase to the implementation and following going into operation within Utility, HVAC, Automation etc. The department consists today of app 30 employees with Engineers, Compliance Specialists and Technicians. You will refer to the Senior Manager within Utility and Engineering support.
