What you will do

The Senior Project Lead will operate as our senior technical support and subject matter expert within the Strategy & Business Growth Team - a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial team in IREF. For this role, we are looking for a driven and engaging technical lead with a strong foundation in refrigeration and energy systems, who also can work with estimations and sales processes, and who possesses a strategic mindset. 

As our new Senior Project Lead, you will develop solutions & services through an understanding of our customers’ needs, and translate this into a competitive solution, which in turn helps our customers achieve their missions. The role effectively consolidates best practice across branches to drive unique strategies for sales growth and relationship management.

You will work out of Denmark or Germany (depending on your preference), and you will report to the Director of Strategy and Business Growth for IREF. You can expect up to 30% travel.

How you will do it

  • You will be a subject matter expert in energy systems, supporting the country leads for concept development; challenging R&D and bringing forward innovation and improvements; educating consultants; and developing concepts with customers.
  • You will provide technical sales support to the countries in line with the Industrial refrigeration strategy plan. You will also lead feasibility studies in the quotation process (RFQ phase), estimations and the development of solutions on a European level.
  • You will gather competitive market intelligence; engage with strategic partners; analyze relevant trends to support the Director for Heat Pump Products in business planning; and influence the product roadmap.
  • You will secure application knowledge in “best practice”; bridge internally between the field organization and product management; as well as be responsible for optimizing current technical and future innovative solutions.
  • You will support the growth and strategic accounts development for energy offerings as well as be responsible for specific countries within EMEA.

  • Solid product knowledge of refrigeration, heating and energy systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge and market expertise in order to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment with stakeholders on a global scale. As of such, you possess great interpersonal and communication skills, and you are fluent in English.
  • Collaborative and analytical mindset with a high degree of passion, enthusiasm, and proactivity.
  • Preferred

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar.
