The Danish National Life Science Supercomputing Center, Computerome is a High-Performance Computing (HPC) facility specialized for Life Science. Users include research groups from all Danish universities and large international research consortiums as well, as users from industry and the public health care sector. They all benefit from the fast, flexible and secure infrastructure, and the ability to combine different types of sensitive data for computational analysis. Computerome is physically installed at the DTU Risø campus and managed by a strong team of specialists working at DTU Lyngby.
We are looking for two System Administrators to join our team of six. The ideal candidates are curious of nature, have strong problem-solving skills and pride themselves in excellent customer service. In our team, you will have the opportunity of making a real difference while having diverse tasks related to the newest technology.
The installation at the National Life Science Supercomputing Centre comprises of a large Linux cluster and an 16 PB file system, combined with a custom built secure Cloud environment to accommodate sensitive data handling. Besides the daily user support, the system administrators’ responsibility are to ensure stable and secure operation at all times including the supercomputer, network, backup, Cloud and various database solutions.

Salary and appointment terms
