Responsibilities
The candidate will workwith design andmaintenance of hardware for UHV systems such as molecular beam epitaxy (MBE).An in-depth knowledge of ultra-high vacuum design principles including choice of UHV compatible materials and manufacturing methods is requiredand expertise in crystal growth techniques will be considered favorably.Responsibilities include design and implementation of in-situ tools for synthesis of quantum devices under UHV conditions. Operation,maintenanceand upgrades of multi-chamber MBE systems is also an essential aspect of the position.
