Your role

We are looking for a new colleague to help drive our smartphone AI technology in medical imaging forward. You will be part of a team of experienced and talented researchers, engineers, and data analysts with years of experience in medical image analysis, where ideas are fertilised and quality is a virtue. You will be tasked with data engineering and business analytics tasks. We expect that you thrive and excel under a great deal of freedom, work well in both small and mid-size teams, and are able to adapt to ever-changing needs.

As our ideal candidate, you…

  • Hold strong Python and SQL skills so you can efficiently transform and analyse datasets.
  • Are passionate about attacking open problems related to real-world datasets and applications, and continuously willing to learn new skills when needed.
  • Have a MSc in data analysis, data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
  • Are motivated about working with experts in engineering, product development, and medicine (dermatology).
  • Are on firm ground when coding, fiddling with the terminal, and debugging complex code.

    It is a bonus if you have…

  • Experience developing annotation guidelines for subject matter experts.
  • Worked in a go-to-market environment with an emphasis on delivering value to users.
  • Experience with software engineering principles such as continuous integration, automated testing, and agile e.g. demonstrated usage of AWS, Github, CircleCI.
  • Experience working with predictive models in medical image analysis using e.g. computer vision and machine learning methods.
  • History of open source contributions or challenge participation in e.g. ISIC, ISBI, SPIE, Kaggle.
