What’s the job?

As our new Head of Nordic Origination, you will passionately take our strategy and vision to the field. Your finest and most important delivery is securing a strong and motivated team of originators set to deliver our strategic targets, securing deal-value for Renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Corporate PPAs in the Nordics, and constantly develop new opportunities as the renewable energy markets evolve.

You will also originate and lead the making of strategic PPAs yourself. You’ll continuously keep up to date with the market and design and tailor customer proposals based on standard and new product structures, lead negotiations and signing of new deals as well as reshape existing.

You’ll work actively across our Asset Management value-chain and in close cooperation with CETs other regional leads to secure we continue to realise our ambition of being the no. 1 renewable energy trader across Europe, securing best-in-class products and services for our customers across all relevant geographies.

Centrica Energy Trading is part of Centrica’s Energy Marketing and Trading business unit with our main hubs located across Aalborg (DK) and London (UK). Along with our 600 colleagues, including our satellite offices in Germany, Sweden, Norway and Singapore, we handle over 14 gigawatts of energy from all over Europe. As our Head of Nordic Origination, we prefer that you work out of our main office in Aalborg, Denmark. The right candidate can work remotely from home, or from our offices in Sweden or Norway, and travel to Aalborg on a regular basis.

You’re a proactive and outgoing team player, who’s able to lead and work actively with stakeholders across all levels. You must have a profound commercial drive and be capable of juggling many different projects and tasks simultaneously.
