Egmont'se-commerce portfolio currently consists of eight high-growth companiesspecializing in distinct categories, such as outdoor, parenting, kitchen/interiorand health & beauty. The portfolio includes Jollyroom, Fjellsport,Outnorth, Bagaren och Kocken/KitchenOne, Med24, Nicehair, Garnius and SkittFiske.

Within thee-commerce business area, Egmont has a highly skilled team that manageacquisitions and support the portfolio companies with knowledge sharing andvalue creation projects from strategy to operational excellence. The team islocated in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, and work closely together.

The eCommerce Graduate journey
To help our portfoliocompanies grow we have developed a graduate program where we are looking fortalents that can act in these entrepreneurial and high-growth environments. Whichmeans being a pragmatic consultant and investment professional with an analyticmindset.

The program is a two-yearprogram where you will be working on different projects within our portfoliocompanies. You will be working from different locations during the fourrotations in our graduate program, for example with Bagaren och Kocken in Gothenburgor Nicehair in Esbjerg.

Your base will be in Gothenburg. We imagine a constellation where you will be working 3-4 days a week onlocation with one of our portfolio companies primarily in Gothenburg, otherwisein Växjo, Sandefjord, Haugesund, Esbjerg or Løkken. 1-2 dayswill be held in Copenhagen at our head office at Egmont.

The Graduate Programhas a steep learning curve and you will be expected to work hard, but thebenefits in knowledge and development will be worth it. No day will be the sameand you will be given hands-on responsibility and the possibility to impact ourbusinesses right from the beginning of the program.

You will begin thegraduate program in September 2021 with an intro based in Gothenburg and Copenhagenand from then on, your rotations will begin with your first project. Theprojects will vary in topic between e.g. strategy and M&A, technology, supplychain, logistics and operations. Between your rotations and projects, we willhold base camps in Gothenburg and Copenhagen with the purpose of training anddevelopment. By the end of the graduate program there will be a possibility fora permanent job offer in Egmont or our portfolio companies.

Do you have what it takes?
To qualify for EgmontseCommerce Graduate Program you will need:

  • A university degree, (have graduated not more than 18 months ago, or be currently working towards obtaining one by the summer)
  • Master in one of the following fields: business, finance, technology, logistics or industrial engineering
  • You are fluent in one of the Nordic languages Danish, Swedish or Norwegian. You are also fluent in English both written and verbally
  • The ability to travel 3-4 days a week.

  • Flexible and the ability to adapt in every given situation
  • Great inter-personnel and communication skills with ability to work with people on all levels in an organization
  • Ambitious and eager to create results.
  • Some of the greatestexpectations we have for our upcoming graduate is for you to be curious andinterested in the field of e-commerce and fast-growing businesses. We expectyou to bring a fresh perspective and challenge us on methods and ideas. Youhave a can-do attitude and assume a pragmatic approach to problem solving butyou also like go in deep with data, spending hours on analyzing beforeconcluding. You are openminded, good at communicating and you enjoy workingwith people from different cultures.

    As a graduate atEgmont you will be given a mentor from our eCommerce team to guide youduring each project, where you also will be working closely with a manager orbusiness representative from the portfolio company. At the end of the programwe believe that you will be inspired and feel comfort in moving to the city ofyour job offer.
