Your responsibilities as a Strategic Purchaser

As procurement responsible for our categories within certain IT hardware and software related services, Datacenter related services, Facilities and Professional services, you will become part of a dynamic working environment with ambitious and dedicated team colleagues, all working solution-oriented and professionally with integrity, drive and humour.

Through professional advice, analysis, dialogue and negotiation you will play a key role in ensuring that our procurement contracts always:

  • support business needs, are easy to comprehend and use and compliant with internal policies
  • are market conform and offer highly competitive prices
  • are unambiguous as well as commercially and legally robust
  • To ensure the best possible procurement results you must follow and adapt to changes within both the business and the relevant category markets to be able to respond proactively to the needs of the business and to make the right decisions on suppliers and best practice procurement strategy and contract models.

    You will project manage your own portfolio of procurement projects and tasks. You can, however, count on solid support from your colleagues – as well as from business subject matter experts.

    Main Activities

    You will

  • establish and maintain solid business understanding and understanding of product and supplier markets
  • conduct market analyses, incl. gather information and gain knowledge on market trends, patterns and buying behaviour
  • develop procurement strategies, negotiation tactics and draft tender and contract materials in close co-operation with line of business and relevant stakeholders
  • facilitate the procurement process from start to finish and lead negotiations and related activities, incl. subsequent management of contracts
  • on ongoing basis identify possible new steps to ensure sustainable savings for line of business 
  • project manage and conduct identified initiatives according to the Business Development Plan of Strategic Procurement

    Your qualifications and experience

    You have

  • a relevant degree within economics or a commercial profile combined with solid experience within procurement and the categories mentioned above
  • great corporate navigation and communication skills and good at managing internal and external relations
  • excellent business understanding, enabling you to act as trusted advisor towards your internal stakeholders
  • personal initiative and ability to set goals and make decisions
  • fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken
  • Success Criteria

    To succeed well you must be able to contribute to reaching the department’s ambitious KPIs and Business Development Targets and thrive with working in an organization with many ongoing projects and tight deadlines.

    You focus on advising, inspiring and motivating the stakeholders within your area of responsibilities and ensuring solid impact on the procurement process.

    Last, but not least, you cooperate both open-mindedly and challenging with internal stakeholders as well as with external partners and suppliers.
