What Needs To Be Done?

  • Define local business requirements and resourcing needs to support Pricing model implementation across EMENA BUs.

  • Ensure EMENA stakeholders are properly engaged and buy-in to the pricing strategy and adopt new processes.

  • Support Product Pricing Leads in data regression modelling, customer segmentation and price book development.

  • Act as a pricing specialist for the region, training and supporting proposals and regional sales teams in new processes and ways of working.

  • Support the definition of freight, service and ancillary pricing strategy across EMENA region.

  • Consult with the product and regional aftermarket leaders to develop formal pricing strategies that drive volume or margin growth.

  • Develop regional and product KPIs and won/loss process, proactively monitoring progress against targets.

  • Provide EMENA leadership with clarity on the progress of project margin development and pricing deviations, including recommendations to improve on an ongoing basis.

  • Act as an interface between the Global Pricing Director and EMENA senior management team and business units.

    Essential skills, knowledge, language & behaviours/Leadership behaviour

  • Degree educated or equivalent practical experience

  • Strong understanding pricing, analytics and statistics

  • High business acumen and commercial background

  • Experienced communicator, with confidence to influence and present to colleagues at all levels

  • Exemplary team player, influential across a matrix organisation

  • Strong influencer capable of engaging internal stakeholders to adopt and execute strategy at an operational level

  • Highly motivated with a consistent ability to prioritise work to achieve goals under pressure

  • Accurately captures, analyses, judges and communicates information.

  • Trainer capabilities in order to transfer knowhow and competences

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

  • Desirable skills, knowledge, language & behaviours/Leadership behaviour

  • Experience of working for a project engineering company

  • Previous experience analyzing and developing pricing strategies

  • Experience of developing and rolling out pricing tools and processes

  • Access/SQL knowledge.

  • Fluent verbal & written language skills in second language
