The team for you to join
Representing the voice and need of the customer navigating between the regional sales leadership team and the operational planning function is a strategic priority for Chr. Hansen Natural Colors. We are therefore looking for a talented Business Analyst, who will own and drive the demand planning and business analytics across the Eastern European sales region. This full-time position is based in Hørsholm/Avedøre, Denmark and is a member of the Eastern European Sales Leadership team in Natural Colors and reports to the head of region. You will join a very collaborative and tight knit team, consisting of 20 skillful and enthusiastic colleagues with diverse backgrounds located in Europe, Russia, Turkey and Africa. As a team, we lean on each other for sparring and knowledge sharing in order to deliver the best possible customer experience.

What would your role look like?
In this role, you will be in the “front line” and act as the “glue” between the regional sales activities and operational responses to ultimately give an enhanced experience to our valued customers. You will achieve this by working cross functionally with touchpoints globally representing the full voice of the regional sales team. Your main responsibility is to support, define and drive demand planning and business analytic activities and improvements across the Eastern European sales region in Chr. Hansen Natural Colors. 

Your daily task includes:

  • Own, drive and optimize processes between sales teams and S&OP/Product Management including forecast (SAP), sales project data (Salesforce) and demand planning. You will also be responsible for ensuring optimal sales input and management of APO system. 
  • Drive and pro-actively own local sales numbers and pipeline reporting delivering insights to guide and strengthen the sales leadership team’s decision-making process. 
  • To be an analytical numbers “wizard” for market and customer mapping studies, continuously improving customer knowledge and segmentation framework.
  • Work closely with the global S&OP team as you will assist in the daily coordination and be the process gatekeeper between sales and supply chain covering topics as availability or new to market introductions.
  • Be responsible for insights around good sales excellence behavior covering customer performance, sales pipeline development, new market needs with relevant stakeholders.
  • Be the go-to-person and anchor for constructing, budgeting and capturing sales estimates across region periodically as guided by finance.
  • Assist in driving high impact projects across the sales region such as MOQ improvements, purchase pattern optimization, large customer business review overviews.
  • Collaborate and identify product portfolio patterns together with Product Management to support longer term regional portfolio strategy.
  • Be a partner-in-crime with regional marketing to execute high impact sales campaigns and new product launches roll-out and follow-up.
  • Actively participate in global S&OP and demand planner network to support regional priorities.
  • Customer-centric Regional Demand & Business analyst with excellent analytical skills
    The ideal candidate holds a BSc/MSc degree within Business, Finance or Supply Chain with a minimum 2-5 years of experience within business analytics, logistics and/or customer support, allowing you to understand how to translate customer needs in a fast paced sales environment into perfect supply and delivery performance. It is an advantage if you have experience from the food industry and are a skilled SAP and/or Salesforce user, but it is not a requirement. As you will have a key interacting role in an international team, it is essential that you have great communication skills, broad cultural understanding and a curious mindset to always improve and challenge the status quo.

  • Are an independent thinker with good self-confidence and self-awareness with the ability to build trust 
  • Have good people skills and can balance customer needs with business goals
  • Are self-driven and feel comfortable taking ownership on ensuring progress
  • Are solution oriented with a collaborative mindset

    You can expect 10-30 days travel per year.
